NOTICES
1. Our first dine out for 2010 will be at the Earl of Leicester Hotel Bistro 85 Leicester St Parkside on Wednesday March 10 at 6.30 pm. Bookings to Emily please by Sunday March 7. All welcome. 2. Notice is given of the Vestry Meeting on Sunday 14th March. The reports and agenda are available today. Can anyone help by taking the minutes of the Vestry – see Fr Scott. 3. Lenten Studies using the book prepared by the new principal of St Barnabas’s College, Fr Matthew Anstey, continue on Tuesday after mass and morning tea. 4. Further ahead, we will have as our guest preacher for Holy Week this year Bp Ian George. Bp Ian was formerly Archbishop and was baptised in this church. 5. VOLUNTEERS required to wash flower vases in readiness for Easter. Please speak to Fr Scott if you can assist. 6. We need help making Simnel cake for Mothering Sunday, 14th March - please see Fr Scott. 7. ABM FUNDRAISER: ABM are again taking orders for BULBS for your garden. Order form available in Parish House. Delivery of bulbs scheduled for early/ mid-May. 8. The St George's Fellowship Group will meet on Tuesday 16th March at 1 pm. There will be a brief AGM, then as our topic, we ask everyone to bring an item of significance to them (a book, photo or other object), which they can show to the group and talk about briefly. All welcome. 9. Anglicare SA – Public Affairs & Media Bureau: Administrative Support Officer required for 20 hours per week (9.30am – 1.30pm, Mon-Fri) on an initial short term contract until end of June, immediate start.
