Mother Teresa has given us many fine thoughts, but
this one, I think, merits reading once more
Life is an opportunity, benefit from it.
Life is beauty, admire it.
Life is bliss, taste it.
Life is a dream, realise it.
Life is a challenge, meet it.
Life is a game, play it.
Life is a promise, fulfil it.
Life is sorrow, overcome it.
Life is a song, sing it.
Life is a struggle, accept it.
Life is a tragedy, confront it.
Life is an adventure, dare it.
Life is too precious, do not destroy it.
Life is life, fight for it.

ST. GEORGE’S  FELLOWSHIP GROUP
The Group recommenced on Tuesday, 20th and at this Meeting we discussed the program for the forthcoming year.  June Sandow provided a quiz, which was enjoyed  by all and won by Joan Pearsons, followed by Pam McMillan—it was good to be together again.
The March Meeting was our Annual General—Fr. Michael Varnish conducted the Election with Joan Pearsons, Secretary, Pam McMillan Treasurer, and myself as President.  It was also decided that the name of the Group be changed to St George’s Fellowship Group, with all meetings being open to members of the parish, relatives and friends.  Following the business part of the Meeting, Fr. Michael and Kath give us a resumė of their trip to Morocco—our thanks to them both for  giving us a most interesting afternoon.
Our last meeting on 23rd April we were happy to have a visit from the ladies [and some men] from St Anthony’s Church, Edwardstown—our thanks to Emily Harding for conducting a tour of our Church and exhibiting some of
St George’s treasures.  A great afternoon was enjoyed by all, and my thanks to  the Group for their  support in providing such a wonderful afternoon tea.
May 15th is the date of our next meeting which Fr Alan Cadwallader will speak about the  Dig at Colossae with which he is involved.  All members of  the parish, relatives and friends are welcome.    Roma Winn, President
